The kitchen at the Grythyttan Inn is well known in the Swedish world of food and wine. We protect and develop Swedish culinary traditions while being influenced and inspired by kitchens from other parts of the world. As much as possible, we use fresh local ingredients, quite often from the surrounding forests. Our guests visit us to experience a culinary experience that is above and beyond the ordinary – and that’s exactly what they get.
Our restaurant is open year-round, for both lunch and dinner. There is always a wide selection of entrées and dishes, with a variation in pricing, and we offer traditional four-course meals and exciting tasting menus in the evenings. To complement your meal, we will more than gladly assist you in selecting the perfect bottle of wine from our distinguished, well-stocked wine cellar.
The well-received tradition of presenting the menu occurs every Friday and Saturday at 18:45. At that time, we proudly introduce the menu for the evening in detail, while focusing on each course and the ingredients involved.
At the Grythyttan Inn, in proudly protecting and keeping with Swedish culture, we celebrate all Swedish holidays with time-honored menus, beautiful decorations and traditional activities.
