Our wine cellar is our pride and joy. It is one of the oldest in the country and was at one time, in fact, a prisoner holding cell. The wine collection is quite extensive and contains over 7,000 bottles from all over the world. Tours and tastings are available to both small and large groups. We even arrange beer, cognac and whiskey tastings.

 

A wine cellar tour is an exciting event. To step into a 350-year-old holding cell, lit by burning torches and filled with pleasant aromas and powerful choir music, is an incredibly powerful experience. The only thing missing is the clanging of the prisoners’ chains.

 

Our popular wine tastings are scheduled on Fridays at 17:00 and Saturdays at 16:00. Price: 250:-/ person. Saturday’s tasting themes vary from week to week. They can be viewed in our Calendar. Friday’s tastings are presented in combination with a tour of the wine cellar.
